Releasing a Battlefront 3, a Kotor 3, or a Jedi Knight 4 is what you should be excited for LucasArts, you people are becoming useless with your Force Unleashed junk. It was a solid game, but Fracture? come on now. And all they care about is their MMO the Old Republic now.

I love Halo and it should be on the list but not number one. The Metal Gear series established itself long before Halo. Half-Life did a few years before as well. Hell even Mario was around 20 years before Halo.

Thats the benefit of being a Halo fan. Bungie spoon feeds us so much that my belly aches at times. You just have to stay in the loop and see for yourself how involved Bungie is with their community. Its surrealistic, especially because of how rare it is for a dev to be like them, and one day, it will be regarded as Mythic.
i dont really see why people care so much. I dont really mind that the PS3 will get a good game, why would i? I have more important things to worry about than something like this anyways.

One of the benefits of being a Halo fan is that i learned everything from this article on Bungie.net weeks ago, because of Bungies's Weekly Updates which are pages long and much more detailed than this outdated news.
Kotor 2 was actually one of the best games i have ever played. It had many glitches, but its companion alignment system and added features made it an extremely satisfying experience. The story was also very good, as it made you feel like you really were the last of the Jedi and you could do something about it, bad or good.
It may have been rushed a bit with many glitches, but it is forgiven in my eyes. Its just too good.

The problem with that logic though is that if you go back and watch it, the CG used to render the early KZ2 trailer isnt even very good compared to other uses of CG, so KZ2 surpassing it in the final game wasnt as hard as you people make it out to be. Sorry but its true.

Its not hard to understand or figure out. Yes, the demo was actually being played live in front of an audience. Yes, many of the same things you saw in the demo were features in the real Halo 2 game, such as vehicle hijacking, swapping weapons with random soldiers, etc. Yes, the graphics in the Halo 2 demo were similar to the actual graphics in the real game.

Halo's story is actually very good, having beaten all the games numerous times and read the novels, i can honestly say that it is at the very least solid sci-fi fiction and much deeper than what some make it out to be.

I highly doubt that this is anywhere near what the finished product will be. the game is still a year away, and these shots look like the game is at the lowest possible settings.
Crysis 1 looked way better than this, Crytek wouldnt let Crysis 2 look that bad. They've been in the industry too long to let that happen.

This game looks great and i liked what i read in this review, im pretty much sold on this game now.
Good year for the 360. First there was Mass Effect 2 which was amazing, now this, and we still have Alan Wake, Crackdown 2, and Halo Reach to look foward too, not to mention some great multiplats like Red Dead Redemption, Dead Space 2, and Dead Rising 2.

Im not buying a high end PC to play this stuff. Im not going to play "point and click" with a mouse and keyboard. I like the controller more and ive had a fantastic time with my 360 and PS3 owners have had a fantastic time with their console. If a dev lets a console hold them back then so be it, thats the developers fault not mine. it doesnt bother me because i dont play games made after 2004 on my low end PC anyways.

Bungie is still independent, meaning Activision cannot treat them the same way they did Infinity Ward. Activision will only be publishing Bungie's games for them, they cannot fire anyone working for Bungie or tell them what to do with their game.
